Visiting Miami?

When your family planned your vacation, chances are good that you put a great deal of thought into the dates that you would travel, the location that you would be traveling to and where you would be staying once you arrived. Regardless of when you will be traveling, you'll find that one of the many villa rentals in Florida makes an ideal place to stay - especially if you are staying on the East Coast of Florida in Miami.

Many will find that the first thing that they intend to experience in Miami is one of the area's many beaches. Those who enjoy taking a jog will find that Bal Harbour Beach offers a shaded jogging path along with sandy spots and beautiful waves. Those who enjoy lighthouses will want to visit Bill Baggs State Recreation Area in nearby Key Biscayne. Others will choose the beaches they visit based on nearby restaurants or cafes, shopping or other attractions.

Others will choose to enjoy the water in a different sort of way with a visit to the Miami Seaquarium. There, you won't only be able to swim, surf or enjoy the shore, you'll also be able to take time to swim with the dolphins. While you are there, you'll also have the opportunity to watch a killer whale show, dolphin shows and sea lion shows. If that's not enough for you, you will find that you can learn more about sharks, manatees, sea turtles, alligators and other Florida wildlife.

For those looking for an even more wild adventure during the time they spend away from their Florida villas, plenty is to be found with a visit to the Miami Metro Zoo. There you will have the chance to view tiger, African lions, meerkats, gazelle, giraffe, elephant, zebra, primates and a number of different species of birds.

Bird lovers will also want to be sure to schedule in a visit to Parrot Jungle and Jungle Island. Visitors there will have a chance to see macaw and other birds. They will also have the chance to see shows including the Winged Wonders Shows in the Parrot Bowl as well as shows that let visitors get up close to other park animals and reptiles.

Of course, not all of Miami's adventure involves wild animals or exploring the beach. Those looking for a cultural experience will be able to find a wide range of options - from the art and culture at The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens to the Cuban culture of Miami's Little Havana.

Miami Beach is famous for its Art Deco district and the designer shops of Collins Avenue and Lincoln Road. Enjoy a day exploring the historic architecture, shop till you drop, then have lunch in an elegant pavement cafe. At the end of the day, night owls who aren't ready to head back to their Florida holiday villas will find countless nightclubs, bars and hot spots where they can dance the night away enjoying all that Miami has to offer.

Miami has far more to offer than beaches and watersports. Unlike areas such as Orlando where much of the activity centers around famous theme parks, you'll find that Miami is a city, rich with culture and tradition. From one of the many luxury Florida villas with pools available to rent, you'll be able to enjoy it all.
